• The most important aspect of the transformer is the VA rating or the Miliamps, if your transformer says 1700mA then divide by 83 to tell you the VA rating, in this example a 1700mA is a 20va transformer, do not worry about the manufacturer but ensure the connection you want is a two pin, remember if your transformer stopped working you might consider a high spec.
